La Monte McNeese was born June 23, 1960 in St. Louis, Missouri to Eunice and Ralph McNeese. He was raised in East St. Louis, IL and graduated from East St. Louis Sr. High School in June 1978. On July 19, 1978, McNeese was baptized in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, and filled with the Holy Ghost.
He served in the United States Army for over 10 years travelling throughout the U.S. and West Germany. It was in Gelhausen, West Germany where he began pastoring a small congregation in September, 1985. Having a heart for Christian Apologetics and biblical exegesis, he started teaching classes to ministers and Bible teachers approximately one year later. This marked the beginning of the Bible college that was later incorporated in Tacoma, Washington by him.
As a author of 4 books, a ghost-writer of several others, a song writer/composer and a prize-winning poet, he also holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Biblical Studies from Florida International Seminary and a PhD. in Theology from Christian Bible College, Rocky Mountain, NC.
Pastor McNeese is the founder and CEO of L. McNeese Ministries, a Christian business service organization and has established three other faith-based community corporations, to include: Apologetics Bible College. He is listed in Gibraltar’s Who’s Who of American Religious Professionals, is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC), and Apostolic Historian Association. He serves on the Executive Advisory Board of Apostolic Archives International and Nominating Committee for the Apostolic Ministerial Hall of Fame. Acknowledged for his expertise, McNeese further serves on the Board of Regents as Dean of Hermeneutics for International Colleges of Seminaries (ICOF) and as Director of Divinity, for Ecclesia University of Divinity.
Additionally, as a respected member of the First Apostolic Council of Kentucky and Tennessee (an affiliate association of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc), pastor McNeese has also received several service awards of appreciation for his excellence in business administration as council Administrator, Historian and Director of Security. McNeese has been married to Tonette Michelle McNeese for 30 years and is the proud father of two daughters, Princess and Latoya.
